Winning the Esto Perpetua award from the Idaho Historical Society for the Ketchum Community Library Regional History Department are Sandy Hofferber, Regional History Librarian, Ollie Cossman, former Community Library Librarian and Representative Wendy Jaquet
CONSERVATION LEADERSHIP AWARD
In 2010, Representative Jaquet was awarded the Conservation Leadership Award from Conservation Voters for Idaho. The organization stated that Jaquet was recognized for her strong leadership on environmental issues during her eight terms in the Legislature, and her commitment to protecting Idaho for future generations. She is the first elected official to be given this prestigious award.
Also in 2010, Rep. Jaquet was named one of the top All Stars by the Food Producers of Idaho, Inc. By virtue of her voting record in 2010, she was deemed to be conscious and supportive of agriculture and natural resource issues. |
